Your St Barts Stay Questions
This page answers the questions visitors ask most about the 31 stays compared here, 16 hotels and 15 villas. Where a figure exists in the listing data it is given plainly; where it does not, the page says so. Nothing here is a quote, and every booking decision should end on the live listing.
What Does A Night In A St Barts Hotel Cost?
The island is not cheap and the hotel data shows it. Eight of the 16 hotels here advertise a from-price for a room for two adults, ranging from $1,072 to $2,945 a night. Those figures were read in January and again in March, both busy high-season months; they are a benchmark for each property, not a quote. The remaining eight hotels publish no figure at all, so the live listing is the only place to see their current rates.
Which Extra Charges Apply On Top Of The Rate?
Two add-ons matter on St Barts. The taxe de sejour runs at 5% of the real price of the stay, excluding extras such as dining, whatever the number of guests. Agency villas also typically charge a service fee of 10 to 15%. Rates on the live listing move with dates and demand, so treat any figure shown here as a benchmark rather than a quote.
Why Are Villa Nightly Rates Never Shown Here?
Villa booking pages print no nightly rate until you enter dates, so this guide quotes none and never guesses. All 15 villas here are Airbnb-style rentals priced by the dates you choose, which means the same house can cost different amounts from one week to the next. Ratings do not help either: some villas carry a score on a ten-point scale, often from very few reviews, and several show a rating without a review count. Weekly figures quoted for agency villas elsewhere describe the island market in general, never a specific villa on this site. Enter your dates on the booking page for the only number that counts.
